Changes To Telehealth Services For Out Of State Patients

Fenway Health is Accepting New Patients

Fenway Health is committed to providing the best possible care for our patients and clients. We have been proud to offer telehealth (video and phone appointments) to all during the COVID-19 pandemic. Telehealth was essential for providing access to care for many patients and will remain an important part of how we deliver care in the future.

During the pandemic, state and federal agencies waived many requirements to allow telehealth to be delivered across state lines. This flexibility allowed patients and providers to remain connected while safely adhering to all COVID-19 restrictions and protocols.

As COVID conditions improve, some states’ telehealth regulations and rules are changing. These changes mean we will have less flexibility in offering telehealth services beyond the boundaries of Massachusetts.

Due to these changes, as of August 31, 2021, we will no longer be able to schedule telehealth visits for patients located outside of Massachusetts.

If you have a telehealth visit already scheduled, you do not need to take any action at this time. Your provider’s office will contact you if there is anything you need to do. If you have any questions and would like to contact Fenway, you may do so via e-mail or by phone. For questions concerning your care via Telehealth, please call the Medical line at 617.927.6000 and the Behavioral Health line at 617.927.6202.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. As always, it is our privilege and honor to be your care provider and we look forward to supporting you in your health goals.
