Danielle O’Banion has been a Primary Care Physician at Fenway: South End since 2016. She has a BA in History from Louisiana State University, MS in Biotechnology from Georgetown University, and an MD from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She completed her residency at the Tufts University Family Medicine Residency at Cambridge Health Alliance in 2015. She is also certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a member of both the International Society for Sexual Medicine and the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health.

Danielle cares for the whole family: infants, children, teens, and adults. Her clinical interests include wellness, sexual health, and gender medicine. She offers long-acting contraceptive services, including IUD and implant placement. She is also able to treat a number of sexual medicine concerns, such as low desire, pain with intercourse, and impaired sexual satisfaction. In her spare time, she can be found reading, trying new food, and working to reduce inequality for marginalized populations.
