Kim Lawrence has a been a psychotherapist at Fenway since 2013. As the Lead Psychotherapist, Kim provides mentorship, coaching, training and supervision for Behavioral Health staff. Kim also provides group clinical supervision for the Medical Case Management staff. She has a BA in Political Science from the University of South Carolina, an M.Ed. in Social Studies Education from Boston University, and an M.S.W from Boston University. Kim is a Certified Provider in Trauma Treatment from the Boston University School of Social Work Kim’s clinical interests include trauma/PTSD recovery, complex trauma, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, chronic illnesses, chronic pain management, and LGBTQ mental health. Kim’s treatment approaches include a psychodynamic orientation as well as mindfulness-based interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Kim tailors her interventions using a holistic, client-centered, strengths-based approach. Her hobbies include reading historical novels.
