Whether it’s about your visit, the care you received, or our customer service.
The Young Leaders Council (YLC) is an initiative of Fenway Health to empower emerging LGBTQ+ leaders and allies to shape their community’s future. YLC donors are individuals in their 20s and 30s who are dedicated to advancing Fenway’s mission through special events, programming, and philanthropy. Our unique and diverse voices support Fenway Health in providing the highest quality healthcare, education, research, and advocacy for members of the LGBTQ+ community and all individuals in our neighborhoods and beyond.
Your pledge to Fenway Health though the Young Leaders Council provides crucial funds that allow Fenway to continue providing affirming, world class care to all individuals regardless of their ability to pay. Together, we can do more.
For more information on becoming a donor, getting involved, or attending any of the YLC events, please contact the YLC coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org

Steering Committee members attend monthly meetings, recruit new members, plan events, and serve as representatives of the YLC to the greater community.
Julian believes that access to excellent healthcare is a right of all human beings and is committed to Fenway Health continuing to expand its role in making this true for marginalized LGBTQIA+ groups in the communities it serves.
In search of a new healthcare provider upon moving to Boston in 2015, Julian found Fenway Health. Inspired by the research, various initiatives, and quality of care provided, Julian decided to start financially contributing to Fenway Health as a member of the Young Leaders Council. In 2018, he joined the Steering Committee and has since led the YLC in fundraising efforts for Harbor to the Bay and the AIDS Walk & Run Boston.
Julian has been recognized as a member of the Fenway Leadership Circle.
Julian is a consultant at SDI Communications; he graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Anthropology and currently lives in Cambridge, MA.
Gillian first discovered Fenway Health in 2013 after moving to Boston and was immediately impressed by the care she received. Fenway soon became Gillian’s home for her healthcare and a large part of her community in Boston. She joined the Young Leader’s Council in 2014 and, a year later, the YLC Steering Committee. Gillian also supports Fenway as a table captain for the dinner party for multiple years and as a member of the Board of Visitors.
Professionally, Gillian leads the inside sales practice for IBM’s Salesforce consulting division, Bluewolf, where she has worked for the past 5 years. Her interest in the intersection between technology and innovation in the face of constant change across different industries, including Healthcare, is a driver for her ongoing relationship with Fenway as well.
Gillian is a graduate of Smith College with a BA in American Studies with a focus in Mass Media and a minor in Sociology.
This past year, YLC members contributed over $100,000 to Fenway Health.
