We’re excited to announce that our own Meredith Bailey, DMD, Assistant Clinical Director of Dentistry, has been named the new Vice President of the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) Board of Trustees.
The Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), is a 5,000-member professional association and statewide constituent of the American Dental Association. Delegates from across the state voted at the MDS House of Delegates Annual Session on June 7th and Dr. Bailey was elected as the next Vice President. She will serve as MDS VP for two years and then move to the role of President in 2021.
The MDS Board of Trustees is composed of the Officers (President, President-Elect, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Speaker of the House, and Immediate Past President) and one Trustee from each of the 14 Massachusetts District Dental Societies.
Dr. Bailey has been practicing dentistry at Fenway Health since 2014. She received a DMD from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine and graduated from the University of Connecticut AEGD program.
Dr. Bailey’s passion for dentistry extends beyond her clinical treatment, as she is very involved in organized dentistry and currently holds leadership positions at the local, state and national levels. She is on the Alumni Board of Directors at CWRU School of Dental Medicine and is honored to be a Pierre Fauchard Academy Fellow. She is also a Massachusetts Dental Society 10 Under Ten Award winner, a William McKenna Volunteer Hero Award winner, Chair of the Boston District Dental Society, and First District Representative to the ADA Council on Ethics, Bylaws and Judicial Affairs.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Bailey on her new appointment!
