Meredith Walker is the Lead Psychotherapist at Fenway’s Ansin Building. She joined Fenway as a Staff Psychotherapist in 2013. She received a Master of Social Work degree from the Smith College School for Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Theater from the University of Rochester. Prior to coming to Fenway she completed a post-graduate fellowship at Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School in the Program for Psychotherapy and a post-graduate reading fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis. Meredith’s clinical interests include LGBTQIA+ communities; gender and sexuality; intersections of identity; self-esteem; relationships; recovering from trauma/PTSD; addiction and harm reduction; and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders. Meredith provides insight-oriented therapy and solution-focused shorter term treatment using psychodynamic, strengths-based, and relational interventions. In addition to her individual clinical work, as the Lead Psychotherapist Meredith provides mentorship, coaching, training, and supervision for Behavioral Health Staff and Interns.
