Jen Brown joined Fenway Health as a psychotherapist in 2017. She received her BA in International Relations from William Smith College, and her MSW and a Certificate in Urban Leadership in Clinical Social Work from Simmons College School of Social Work. She is also trained as a volunteer evaluator with Physicians for Human Rights to conduct mental health evaluations for asylum seekers. Jen offers therapy in both English and Spanish.
Jen’s clinical interests include LGBTQ issues, addressing issues of race, culture, sexual, and gender identity within an anti-oppression framework, mood and anxiety disorders, addictions and harm reduction, recovery from trauma/PTSD, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and social justice-informed practice. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, arts and craft projects, and reading.
