Laura Pirrotta has been a Behavioral Health Specialist at Fenway Health since 2016. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy from Berklee College of Music and Master’s Degree in Social Work from Simmons College School of Social Work.
Laura previously worked as a social worker at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s Primary Care, Healthcare Associates. Prior to that, Laura worked providing social work crisis intervention and triage services for patients needing mental health and addiction services for 44 primary care practices associated with Beth Israel Deaconess Healthcare. Laura also trained in a Psychiatric Day Treatment program, and has worked as Music Therapist in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Laura’s clinical interests include treatment of anxiety and depression, substance use, eating disorders, chronic mental illness, women’s health, and LGBTQ issues.
