Thomas Lane is the Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Policy and Planning at Department of Developmental Services (DDS) within the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) where he provides system wide consultation centered at the development of new services and supports. DDS’ mission is to create, in partnership with others, innovative and genuine opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to participate fully and meaningfully in, and contribute to, their communities as valued members.

Thomas has a demonstrated history of working in the government administration industry. In his previous role within EOHHS he supported MassHealth leadership in developing and implementing key strategic priorities to improve the service delivery system for over 200,000 members accessing long term services and supports. He has also served as a project lead on several key cross secretariat projects.

Thomas has a Master’s degree focused in Public Administration from Suffolk University – Sawyer Business School, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Salem State University.
