Robert Chambers is the Vice President for Strategic Engagement and Chief of Staff at Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt). In this role he serves as a key advisor and thought partner to the President of the college, the senior leadership team, as well as a liaison between the President’s office and the Board of Trustees. He provides supervision and support to staff in President’s office, Marketing and Communications, General Counsel, Government and Corporate Relations, Public Safety and Technology. Robert is responsible for co-chairing MassArt’s Strategic Planning Committee as well as the Campus Master Planning Committee.
Robert has extensive nonprofit leadership experience serving on several boards in various leadership positions including Quincy College’s Board of Governors, Quincy YMCA, South Shore YMCA of Massachusetts, Fenway Alliance, LGBTQ Commission for the City of Quincy, and the Boston Arts Academy Board of Trustees.
Robert has a business and psychology degree from Southeast Missouri State University. He lives in Quincy with his husband, two sons, and three dogs.
