LGBTQIA+ Family & Parenting Services

Support and Resources for Families, Parents, and Prospective Parents

Fenway Health provides support networks, education, and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ headed families. Please find information and resources below. Whether you are adopting, using a gestational carrier, looking for legal referrals, or carrying a child – we want to help.

Monthly Drop In Group for Parents / Prospective Parents who are Trans / Gender non-conforming / Non-binary

You are welcome to join us to be in community with other trans and gender diverse people who are parents or looking to become parents. Partners are welcome! This is a space for getting support from peers, discussing issues around gender and parenting, and getting support from your community. The group is facilitated by a Fenway therapist.

The group is free and open to the public and runs on the last Wednesday of every month over Zoom from 5 p.m.–6:15 p.m. For more information, please contact the facilitator, Elly Humphrey LMHC, at (617) 927-6019 or ehumphrey@fenwayhealth.org.

The Alternative Insemination Program

The Alternative Insemination (AI) Program at Fenway Health offers office inseminations as well as instruction for home inseminations. Through thoughtful education, support from our staff, and optional support groups, you can develop fertility awareness and learn about the various AI options. Our staff is available to help you work through the challenging yet rewarding issues and stresses involved in the AI experience. For more information, please contact the program coordinator, Salem Quinn, at 617.927.6334 or squinn@fenwayhealth.org.

The Alternative Insemination Program Support Group

Fenway offers a support group for those who are currently enrolled in the AI program. This group meets every other week, is free, and is held over Zoom. For more information, please contact the facilitator, Eli Latto, LICSW, at 857.313.6807 or elatto@fenwayhealth.org.
