How do I apply?
You can search for all open positions through our online Careers Portal. Once you have reviewed the qualifications and selected your desired position, you will be directed to create an account. After your account is created, continue to follow the portal instructions. Please answer all required questions and include any additional materials that are requested.
Can I submit my materials via mail or email?
No, all candidates must apply directly through our online Careers Portal.
What happens to my application after it’s submitted?
Completed applications will first be screened by Human Resources to ensure that all necessary qualifications are met. If you have met these requirements, we will forward your application to the hiring manager who will contact you if selected for an interview.
I’ve just completed my online application. Will a phone call or visit to HR help my chances?
Although we appreciate enthusiastic candidates, phone calls or visits will not elevate your chances of being hired. We encourage you only to contact us with questions and remind you that it can sometimes take significant time to hear back about your application.
Will I be contacted regardless of the hiring decision?
Once you’ve submitted your application through the Careers Portal, you will receive an automatic email confirming that your application has been received. If your profile does not match the minimum necessary qualifications or experience for a desired role, you will also be notified via an automatic email at that time. After this step in the process, further contact is at the discretion of the individual hiring managers. (Please note that we receive a high volume of applications and it will take at least 1-2 weeks for you to hear back about your application).
How competitive is your application process?
As a relatively small but continually growing community health center, we often receive a high volume of applications for a small pool of open positions. However, we make it a priority to carefully review each qualified applicant in order to find the best fit for each role.
I have previously applied for a position at Fenway Health. Is my information still saved on the portal?
Once you have created an account on our Careers Portal, you can continue to search and apply for jobs with your profile, however you must complete the application process for each individual position in which you are interested. If you are not selected for one position, we will not automatically review your credentials for other openings. You can log into the portal at any time to review and edit your application materials.

Fenway’s Behavioral Health department has played a central role in that fight, serving as a beacon for hope and a source of healing and recovery for countless individuals. We are living in challenging times, and people everywhere – especially in BIPOC and other communities that are disproportionately impacted by health disparities – are experiencing heightened stress and other challenges to their health and well-being. The demand for Behavioral Health services at Fenway Health is unprecedented.
To meet the needs of our patients and community, we are excited to announce an expansion of our psychotherapy services to include a robust, permanent Behavioral Health Telehealth Service to carry us through and beyond the COVID pandemic crisis. We are seeking five outstanding, committed psychotherapists with diverse lived experience to establish this service: a Coordinator of Behavioral Health Telehealth Services, and four Telehealth Psychotherapists.
The Coordinator of Behavioral Health Telehealth Services will assist in the development and oversight of the Behavioral Health Telehealth Service. Working remotely, this individual will assist in hiring remote based therapists to provide telehealth services, and collaborate with other department managers and supervisors to provide broader oversight and staff training for all of Behavioral Health’s remote telehealth services. The Coordinator of Behavioral Health Telehealth Services will also provide direct client care via telehealth, assist in linking clients to care, and provide clinical and administrative staff supervision.
The Telehealth Psychotherapists will provide telehealth clinical services to Behavioral Health clients. Working remotely, the Telehealth Psychotherapists will provide a broad range of psychotherapy care and services, including individual, couples and family therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, and on-call coverage, to new and established clients. They will provide access to care to new clients through intake and diagnostic evaluations.
