Ways to Get Involved

Giving to the Fenway Health mission through your valuable time accelerates and amplifies our efforts. There are several fun and exciting ways you can help.

Community Events

The communities that make up the Fenway Family are diverse, and each segment has unique and important needs. One technique we use to maintain touch points and service with each segment of the broader community is our Community Event Program. You can participate on a committee or as a day of volunteer. One Day Volunteers

If you would like to help out as a volunteer on the day of a specific event we have roles for you too. These roles might include welcoming guests at the gala, handing out water at the Strides For Action, tabling with Fenway staff at a LGBTQIA+ event or other supportive role that’ll go a long way toward making the experience great for someone else and fulfilling for you.

Corporate Volunteer Days

Your company or organization can help the LGBTQIA+ community and Health Equity by scheduling a Friday morning or afternoon volunteer experience at our Boomerangs Warehouse. While sizing, tagging, and hanging clothing volunteers can channel their inner fashionista and build comradery with their fellow team members. Every garment that is prepared for sale helps to secure critical funding for client programs at AIDS Action Committee.

Peer to Peer Events and Corporate Teams

We have two exciting peer to peer events that help build teamwork and support the Fenway Health mission. Your team will have fun while they walk or ride their way toward a greater access to quality health care for all.

Harbor to the Bay

If you love to ride, your friends and family will want to support you as you participate in Harbor to the Bay. Participants in this annual event bike from Boston to Provincetown, with a shorter option starting at Sagamore Bridge.

Strides For Action

Formerly known as AIDS Walk Boston

If a casual day walking along Carson Beach is more your speed, your friends and family will want to support your efforts when you participate in Strides for Action by serving as a fundraiser and walker!

Board of Visitors

The Volunteer Opportunities listed above are coordinated by staff and recognized through the Fenway Ambassador program called the Board of Visitors.

Additional Volunteer Opportunities

Fenway also has individual and long-term volunteer opportunities such as internships, working with youth experiencing homelessness, and other fulfilling roles. Interested?
