Dr. Alex Keuroghlian To Receive HMS Excellence in Clinical Instruction in Psychiatry Award

The Fenway Institute is excited to announce that Dr. Alex Keuroghlian, Director of Education & Training, is being honored with Harvard Medical School’s Excellence in Clinical Instruction in Psychiatry Award from the graduating class of 2018. This is in recognition of his excellent work in educating the next generation of behavioral health specialists.

In addition to his work at The Fenway Institute, Dr. Keuroghlian is also an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, a Clinical Psychiatrist for the Behavioral Health Department at Fenway Health, and Public and Community Psychiatry Curriculum Director for the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH)/McLean psychiatry residency program.

His areas of research include mood; substance abuse; anxiety, post-traumatic stress, psychosis, personality; medical psychiatry; psychopharmacology; psychotherapy; LGBT health; relationship difficulties; cultural psychiatry; public and community psychiatry; and health systems.

Dr. Keuroghlian will presented with this award at the Harvard Medical School Class Day graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 24. Please join us in congratulating him on this honor!
