Fenway Health Employees Leave Their Mark at 2018 Gay Games

Three Fenway Health staff members – and now, international athletes – recently competed at the 2018 Gay Games held in Paris.

Maya Milic-Strkalj, therapist at 1340 Boylston St., competed in the women’s tennis in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. She won silver in singles and two bronzes in doubles.

Conall O’Cleirigh, Affiliated Investigator at The Fenway Institute, competed in men’s tennis. He won three bronze medals.

Robb Johnson, Associate Vice President of Special Projects, competed in men’s swimming.

Held every four years since 1982, the Gay Games has promoted inclusion, participation, and personal best for all, bringing together people from across the globe. The Gay Games are open to all people regardless of sexual orientation, age, gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, politics, experience, physical challenges or health status. The purpose of the Games is to combat all forms of discrimination, promote LGBT equality, and celebrate healthy living.

Please join us in congratulating Maya, Conall, and Robb on these fantastic achievements and on representing LGBT athletes to the world!
