Holly Fontenot Inducted American Academy of Nursing Fellow

We are pleased to announce that Holly B. Fontenot, PhD, RN/NP, FAAN, has been inducted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing. Dr. Fontenot is an Adjunct Faculty Member at The Fenway Institute and maintains NP clinical privileges at The Borum.

She is also an Assistant Professor at the Boston College School of Nursing and a clinician consultant for the Sylvie Ratelle STD/HIV Prevention Training Center. Her areas of research include promotion of sexual and reproductive health, reducing the burden of human papillomavirus (HPV), and the intersections of violence and sexual health.

The American Academy of Nursing’s approximately 2,400 fellows are nursing leaders in education, management, practice and research. Fellows represent association executives; university presidents, chancellors and deans; elected officials; state and federal political appointees; hospital chief executives and vice presidents for nursing; nurse consultants; and researchers and entrepreneurs. Academy fellows also have a responsibility to contribute their time and energies to the Academy, and to engage with other health leaders outside the Academy in transforming America’s health system.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Fontenot on this honor!
