Introducing Fenway Health Interim COO Nancy Starbuck

Fenway Health is pleased to announce that Nancy Starbuck, MS, is our new interim Chief Operating Officer. Nancy will be taking on some of the responsibilities previously held by Jeffrey Lieberman, our former Vice President of Administration and Finance who recently retired after 13 years at Fenway Health.

Nancy is a proven interim healthcare professional with deep experience in both outpatient and inpatient healthcare. Beginning her career in a medical lab, she worked her way up as she attained her BA and MS in business. Nancy recently held interim outpatient leadership roles at Newport Hospital in Rhode Island and Alice Peck Day in Lebanon, NH, an affiliate of Dartmouth Hitchcock. She also served as an interim VP at Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center from 2015 to 2017.

Nancy has spent many years working in Maine – which she calls home along with Maryland – as both as an interim and permanent employee. She has held roles as business office manager for health centers and practice administrator for ambulatory care.

Nancy’s experience includes organizational integration, operational and financial analysis, staffing models, leadership development, quality and performance improvement, and development of business plans and feasibility studies. She also has experience in EMR implementation.

Please join us in welcoming Nancy to the Fenway Family!
