Join Our New Survey About Transmasculine Sexual Health, HIV Prevention

Fenway Health is launching a national, anonymous survey called the Trans MSM PrEP and Sexual Health Survey. This survey is unique as it truly centers the community it will represent, being made “by” and “for” trans masculine people. “Trans masculine” is used here to describe people who were assigned a female sex at birth and who identify as men, male, trans men, trans male, genderqueer, genderfluid, nonbinary, and many other diverse trans masculine identities and expressions.

Right now, researchers don’t know very much about HIV risk and prevention needs for trans men and trans masculine people who have sex with men. In order to change that, Fenway Health has developed this survey to gather detailed information about HIV sexual risk behaviors, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) knowledge and barriers to PrEP, and other sexual health information and needs of the Trans MSM community.

Eligible participants to take part in this survey are 18 or over, identify as a trans masculine person (assigned female sex at birth), and have had sex with cis men in the last 6 months. Individuals of any HIV status (infected, uninfected, or unknown) are welcome to take the survey. Participants will receive a $10 Amazon gift card for their time.
