National Committee for Quality Assurance Recognizes Fenway Health As Patient-Centered Medical Home

We are pleased to report that the Fenway Health Ansin Building at 1340 Boylston Street location has again been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH).

The Ansin Building has been recognized as a PCMH by NCQA since 2014. This recent renewal of PCMH status under the current NCQA standards is in recognition of Fenway’s continued commitment to the delivery of patient-centered care.

According to NCQA, a Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of care that puts patients at the forefront of care. PCMHs build better relationships between people and their clinical care teams. Research shows that they improve quality, the patient experience and staff satisfaction, while reducing health care costs.

NCQA’s Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition Program is the most widely adopted Patient-Centered Medical Home evaluation program in the country. More than 12,000 practices with more than 60,000 clinicians are recognized by NCQA, and more than 100 payers support NCQA recognition through financial incentives or coaching.

Thank you to all our dedicated staff who helped make this important recognition possible.
