New Epic Medical Records System and MyChart Patient Portal Go Live December 1, 2022

Fenway Health patients will notice some exciting changes to our online patient portal and improved patient care when we switch to a new Epic Electronic Health Records system on December 1, 2022.

Fenway is part of a group of 12 area community health centers known as the Community Technology Collaborative that will be switching to the Epic, a best-in-class confidential, patient-centered platform that will allow us to have a single fully integrated system to better manage patient care. This move will help the health center achieve major goals and objectives including improving patient care, enhancing the care team experience, improving care coordination, and operating more efficiently.

The move to Epic will also give patients access to the MyChart patient portal, which will replace our MyFenway and MyBorum portals. MyChart is accessible through an app and website and will provide better access to your information. You will be better able to connect and share information, view clinical information, schedule appointments, request refills, pay bills, communicate with your healthcare teams, and much, much more.

Don’t worry if you are used to typing myfenway.org or myborum.org or have those sites bookmarked. We will forward those URLs to the new patient portal.

It is our goal for this new system to help us provide a more patient-centered care experience. We plan to go live on December 1, 2022 and will keep you updated in the weeks and months ahead.
