Since day one, Fenway Health has looked at health care through a non-traditional lens. We were founded by folks who wanted to shake up the system and make quality care accessible to populations that too often were overlooked or marginalized by the mainstream. With a pay-what-you-can model, we put the focus back on the “community” part of “community health center.” Over the years, we have continued this tradition of innovation across Fenway. From the groundbreaking medical research of The Fenway Institute, to a first of its kind textbook on LGBTQ health care, to our pioneering Trans Health Program, we strive each day to become better than the day before.
