Julie joined Fenway Health in 2010 and currently serves as both the Interim Associate Medical Director and the Medical Director of the Trans Health Program. She is a primary care clinician leader who specializes in LGBTQIA+ health, high-resolution anoscopy, and is an HIV Specialist through the American Academy of HIV Medicine. As the Medical Director of Trans Health, Julie leads on-going education to support Fenway’s medical providers, and works interdepartmentally to ensure Fenway offers the highest quality care to trans and gender diverse communities and is welcome space for all patients and staff. Julie is on the faculty advisory board at the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center and is core faculty on TransECHO and TransLINE, providing trainings and consultative services for health care providers across the country. She also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the United States Professional Association of Transgender Health (USPATH).
