Participants may be eligible if they:
- Are 18 years old
- Any assigned sex at birth
- Are newly diagnosed or have been diagnosed with genital herpes for at least 1 year
- Have had at least one outbreak of an HSV-2 genital herpes lesion within the past year
- Test positive for HSV-2 and test negative for HIV
- Are willing to participate in this study for a two-year period
