The Sexual Health Clinic hours will be 9AM - 12PM Thursday July 2.

Fenway Health will be closed on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen for normal operations on Monday, July 6.

We-Rise Study

Researchers at Boston Medical Center/Fenway Health are looking to hear from Black women who use drugs and may be vulnerable to HIV who may be interested in discussing issues around seeking or engaging in substance use treatment to participate in our study to help us design a better program for Black women. Are you a Black woman interested in sharing your experiences with substance use treatment?

Researchers at Boston Medical Center/Fenway Health are looking to hear from Black women who use drugs and may be vulnerable to HIV who may be interested in discussing issues around seeking or engaging in substance use treatment to participate in our study to help us design a better program for Black women.

Eligible participants will complete a brief survey and a 60-90 minute interview where they share their experience with substance use treatment and ideas for improving services.

Participants will receive $50 for their participation.

You may be eligible if you:

  • Are 18+ years old
  • Identify as a Black woman
  • Have used or are currently using drugs (e.g., heroin, crack/cocaine, fentanyl, prescription opioids, etc.)
