We are pleased to announce that Liz Nahar has joined The Fenway Institute as our new Director of Administration and Planning.
Liz has over a decade of experience in program and leadership roles, working with scientists and physicians who are academic activists working to improve health for children and families, particularly in underserved communities. She has spent much of the past 12 years working at Tufts and Boston Children’s Hospital, stewarding the growth of several national and community based child obesity prevention initiatives. Liz brings with her years of expertise around foundation and corporate funding, an invaluable skill as we continue to grow and expand our services. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Masters in Social Work from Boston College.
As Director of Administration and Planning, Liz will work in collaboration with The Fenway Institute Co-Chairs and Faculty to set department priorities consistent with the mission and strategic plan of the health center and The Fenway Institute. She will support the establishment of clear goals and objectives in pursuit of department growth and expansion, and will also oversee the annual budget for The Fenway Institute and sit on the Senior Management Team.
