We are excited to announce that Fenway Health Medical Director Alex Gonzalez, MD, MPH, has been promoted to Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC).
The promotion process seeks to recognize and reward excellence among HMS faculty in terms of teaching efforts, as well as other contributions to the medical profession.
“I’ve been a member of the HMS and BIDMC faculty for 15 years; during that time, I have been able to represent Fenway Health, HMS, and BIDMC by speaking about various LGBT health topics at numerous local, regional, national, and international meetings,” said Dr. Gonzalez. “I look forward to helping my fellow physician colleagues at Fenway obtain similar promotions in the future.”
