We are excited to announce that Supraja Rajagopalan, MD, Obstetrician & Gynecologist, was selected for the Carl J. Shapiro Institute Medical Education Scholarship Program from Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. This six-month course is aimed at developing the skills needed to apply social science research methods to medical education research.
Supraja hopes to focus her project on the effects of including LGBTQ+ specific didactic training in medical education.
The mission of the Carl J. Shapiro Institute for Education and Research at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is to support, promote, and develop innovative programs and models for the dual activities of teaching and conducting research at academic medical centers.
