We’re excited to announce that the newly expanded and renovated medical space on the 5th floor of our 1340 Boylston St. offices will be open for primary care services on Monday, September 17. Two of the new providers that recently joined Fenway will be based on the fifth floor. Additional providers, including specialists, will begin seeing patients on the 5th floor starting October 1.
This new medical floor is part of our ongoing commitment to continuously improving access to our services. It allows us to hire wonderful new providers and expands our capacity to provide comprehensive, culturally competent care to more patients. The opening of the 5th floor completes the recent extensive construction project at 1340 Boylston St. which also saw the addition of six new operatories in the dental department earlier this summer, enabling us to expand our capacity to see dental patients by 50%.
We’d like to thank our staff and patients at 1340 for their patience during the construction process and encourage the community to stop by and see the new medical floor. We’d also like to thank our Facilities team, led by Director Mike Bettencourt, for overseeing the project, as well as contractor Columbia Construction, project manager Bill Pugliese, and architect Steffian Bradley for doing such a great job on the renovations.
