Jennifer Chrisler is the Chief Advancement Officer at Hampshire College, responsible for marketing and communications, public affairs, fundraising, alumni engagement and career services. She leads the 14-person team that is responsible for the development and execution of a strategic and compelling $60 million comprehensive fundraising campaign.
She is a senior administrator with 20+ years of public and private sector experience focused on creating and implementing strategic initiatives, building coalitions, and generating personal and financial support for institutions and movements. She is also a recognized leader in advancing complex issues on both state and federal levels and a consultative consensus-builder and problem-solver with exceptional communication skills.
Ms. Chrisler is a seasoned non-profit manager and has worked closely with Boards and volunteers in support of causes and organizations. She has served in senior leadership roles at UMass Dartmouth and Smith College and was the Executive Director of the Family Equality Council, a national organization advocating for the rights of LGBT parents and their children, where she served from 2005 – 2013.
Ms. Chrisler is a 1992 Smith alumna.
