We are pleased to announce that David Todisco, LICSW, has accepted the position of Director of Behavioral Health here at Fenway Health.
In this role, David oversees a staff of over 80 therapists, social workers, addictions specialists, psychiatrists, case managers, acupuncturists, and LGBTQ violence recovery advocates and counselors.
Programs and services within the Behavioral Health Department include outpatient psychotherapy and psychiatry; integrated behavioral health care; the Addiction and Recovery Wellness Program; case management and community-based case management services; the Violence Recovery Program; LGBT parenting and family services.
David has over twenty-five years of experience providing behavioral health care within health care settings. Prior to joining Fenway Health in 2001, David was a community based, and in-patient medical social worker at Mass General Hospital. He was also a volunteer at AIDS Action, staffing the hotline and as a support group facilitator. David earned a Master of Social Work from Simmons College and his B.A. from UMASS Boston.
David has done an incredible job in his role as Acting Director of Behavioral Health since December of 2017. Prior to that role, he was Associate Director of Behavioral Health from 2013 to 2017.
