We are pleased to announce that Dr. Kenneth Mayer, Medical Research Director at The Fenway Institute, has been selected as the recipient of the 2019 LGBTQ Health Award by the Massachusetts Medical Society. Dr. Mayer will be honored on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Club Cafe in Boston.
The LGBTQ Health Award recognizes a medical student or physician who has made outstanding contributions to LGBTQ health.
The Massachusetts Medical Society, with some 25,000 physicians and student members, is dedicated to educating and advocating for the patients and physicians of Massachusetts. Founded in 1781, MMS is the oldest continuously operating medical society in the country.
