Fenway Health is pleased to announce that Payal Srinivasa, MD, MHCI, has joined us as Fenway’s first Reproductive Health Medical Director. Dr. Srinivasa brings with her over 12 years of experience as an OB/GYN and we are excited to have her join our Reproductive Health team.
She comes to Fenway from Atrius Health, where she was a Physician Leader and sat on a number of key committees on topics such as quality assurance and improvement, continuing medical education, and compensation.
While at Atrius, Dr. Srinivasa also served as a Physician Representative on a critical project to reduce clinician burnout, and as a Project Manager examining ways to address racial and ethnic disparities in flu vaccine acceptance rates among obstetric patients. In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Srinivasa was a preceptor for third year Tufts Medical Students on their obstetrics and gynecology rotation. She is also a member of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists newly formed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
Dr. Srinivasa holds several degrees, including Doctor of Medicine from the Boston University School of Medicine and Masters of Health Care Innovation from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. She is American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology certified and an American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology fellow.
Fenway looks forward to continuing to expand our reproductive health services under Dr. Srinivasa’s leadership and leveraging her racial equity and health disparity experience to help advance our Racial Equity Action Plan, particularly in clinical settings, as Fenway works to become an antiracist organization.
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Srinivasa to Fenway Health!
