Fenway Health will be shutting down at 5 PM on December 24 and December 31 and will be closed on December 25 and January 1 for Christmas and New Year’s.

Fenway Health Welcomes Four New Providers

We are excited to welcome four new providers to our Ansin Building at 1340 Boylston St. These clinicians bring years of valuable experience with them and are a great addition to the Fenway Health family.

Christopher Alonzo, MD will see patients on the 5th floor at our 1340 Boylston street location. Chris is an Internal Medicine provider who graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, earned his Master’s degree in Public Health from University of Texas in Houston, and completed residency training at Yale with a specific focus in HIV primary care. Chris is also fluent in Spanish.

Lauren Campbell, MD will see patients on the 2nd floor of our 1340 Boylston street location. Lauren is an Internal Medicine provider who specializes in Internal Medicine, LGBT health and HIV care. She earned her MD and MPH from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA and completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, MA. She is certified as an HIV specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.

Shimontini (Shimi) Mitra, MD will see patients on the 4th floor of our 1340 Boylston street location. Shimi is an Internal Medicine/Nephrology provider who graduated from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom MBChB and completed her fellowship in Internal Medicine/Nephrology at BIMC. Shimi is not totally new to Fenway, as she completed her residency program here. Shimi is fully proficient in English, French, Bengali and Swahili.

Ahmed Salama, MD will see patients on the 5th floor of our 1340 Boylston street location. Ahmed is an Internal Medicine provider who graduated from Cairo University Faculty of medicine in Cairo, Egypt, earned his Diploma in healthcare management from The American University in Cairo, and completed his residency training at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. His clinical experience includes time at IOM/UN providing care to vulnerable migrants and victims of trafficking, as well as Harlem hospital center in NY and St. Vincent Hospital. Ahmed speaks English and Arabic.
