Elections have consequences, especially for folks who experience impacts of the intersections of homophobia, transphobia and racism that our LGBTQIA+ community and others face daily.
Here at Fenway Health, we strive to do the work to dismantle oppressive systems that create and exacerbate inequities and will continue to do so after November 3. Voting this fall is especially important for the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve.
Please join us on Tuesday, October 6 from 12:30-1:30 PM for a Virtual Community Forum on Getting Out the Vote!

During this hour, we’ll answer FAQs such as:
- WHAT is different about this election?
- HOW can the community be heard during this election season?
- WHY do elections matter for LGBTQIA+ and PLWH/A communities?
Extremely concerning voter suppression efforts proliferate across the country as primaries continue and the general election in November approaches. This is not new. Voter suppression attempts to silence the voices of those who will bring change. If your vote didn’t matter, they wouldn’t fight so hard block it.
No one should have to choose between their health, safety, or dignity and exercising their right to vote. To apply to vote by mail in Massachusetts, click here.
Please help us Get Out the Vote and spread the word about this Virtual Community Forum on October 6!
