Calling past Taste of the South End attendees and anyone interested in the best food and drink the city has to offer. The first official Fenway Social will take place on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 5-8 pm at Time Out Market in the Fenway neighborhood. We will gather together as a community to raise vital funds for our programs and patients. The 15 vendors at the market will be featuring special small plates made exclusively for our event. Trillium Brewing will be on hand to pour over ten different beers and wines. We are thrilled to host our supporters outside on the sprawling lawn on one of the first nights of summer after way too long apart. Interested in being on the host committee or being a special Fenway Ambassador for this event? Please contact Liz Roderick at lroderick@fenwayhealth.org or at 617.777.3998.
Events are Back!
How can I participate and help Fenway Health in the process?
Prior to the pandemic we held three large fundraising events that catered to various segments of our community The Dinner Party, The Men’s Event, and The Taste of the South End.
Looking to create more inclusive events, event committee volunteers and development staff worked to combine them into one extraordinary pool of donors and supporters. It became clear, by holding three events, participants’ generosity was being watered down by the cost of the events, hampering support of Fenway Health’s mission. Armed with this knowledge, we interviewed dozens of participants from each event to understand the specifics of what people valued and appreciated. We allowed that feedback to inform the design of the new events.
The outcome become two new events, both held outdoors and in well ventilated spaces, to help protect attendees against potential future COVID outbreaks.
For those who are looking for that extra special night out The Fenway Gala is the Creative Black-Tie event held at the brand new 521 Overlook ballroom at Fenway Park. The reception will be outdoors and the full plated dinner will be served in the beautiful new space featuring a full program, entertainment, and a live auction.
For those who are looking to spend time reconnecting with old friends and making new ones The Fenway Social is the community networking and engaging event held both indoor and outdoor at Time Out Market. 15 restaurants will provide unique food created especially for the event. The program will all feature a silent auction, games and activities and a light program.

Additional Events
It’s important to note that Fenway Health provides dozens of free community events during the year as well as several lower cost fundraisers including the Gay Men’s Chorus Disney event. There are lots of ways to celebrate PRIDE with Fenway Health.
We welcome your feedback on our events, and we are confident that this line up will continue to evolve. In future years, we may not be constrained by pandemic, we may add other events, merge events, or discontinue some. It’s our hope that among all the all the choices everyone will find a way to participate and support our work and our mission.

Priorities
The broad scope of events is designed to welcome as many people as possible into the Fenway family as donors and participants, while supporting our mission. That’s part of the strategy around the list of events as well as the price structure for each event.
Additionally, the events have historically generated many individual donors who give throughout the year. Each event will have a compelling appeal for that annual support, the appeal presentation will be geared toward the specific audience.
