Janet Mulligan, RN, to Join Fenway Health as Executive Director of Nursing

We are pleased to announce that Janet Mulligan, RN has accepted the newly created position of Executive Director of Nursing at Fenway Health. Janet’s first day at Fenway will be Monday, November 26, 2018.

Janet comes to us with over 30 years of nursing experience in various hospital and outpatient settings. For the past two and a half years, Janet has been the Chief Nursing Officer at South End Community Health Center where she has successfully been able to implement a nursing structure with role definitions that best utilizes the skills of all RNs, LPNs and MAs. Prior to that, Janet has held multiple administrative and management nursing roles for healthcare organizations including Massachusetts General Hospital and Shriner’s Hospital for Children. She is well versed in the PCMH requirements and certification process and has been able to create teams with patient care as the top priority.

Janet will be directly reporting to the COO position and will become part of the Leadership Committee. She will be overseeing all of Nursing including RNs, LPNs, MAs, and the Occupational Health, Infection Control, and Case Management programs.

A native of Milton, Massachusetts, Janet holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing Administration from Northeastern University. Janet currently lives in Milton with her two Cavachon pups. She’s an avid fan of the New England Patriots and enjoys spending time with her family.
