Join A Study, Help Change The IMPACT Of Stimulant Use

Stimulants such as meth, cocaine, or ecstasy are popular “party drugs” that can have serious detrimental effects on every aspect of a person’s life. Fenway Health is now recruiting for Project IMPACT, an innovative new study that examines how stimulant use affects friendships, mood, sexual enjoyment, and sexual health. Our researchers are seeking volunteers to help test a holistic therapy to treat issues related to stimulant use, depression, and adult sexual health.

Eligible participants are men who have sex with men (MSM) who are age 18 or older and have used a stimulant such as meth, cocaine, or ecstasy during sex in the past four months. Study participants will be compensated up to $350 over the course of the study.

Participants in Project IMPACT may receive up to 10 free individual therapy sessions to help participants re-learn how to enjoy favorite activities without the use of stimulants, improve their mood, and protect their sexual health and wellbeing.
