The weather is warming up and Boston Pride is right around the corner, which means it’s time to get ready to celebrate – and dance – with friends new and old. The LGBT Senior Pride Coalition has been working hard for months to make this year’s Pride Week one of the best ever, and you’re invited to join the fun!
The always popular Silver Party, an encore event for the annual Pride Tea Dance, will be held on Sunday, June 4 at The Holiday Inn in Brookline from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. The Silver Party is a festive dinner dance for LGBT seniors and their friends, featuring a sit down meal, music by DJ Shelly, plenty of dancing, and much more. This year, there will also be a contest for the most creative use of silver in a party outfit, as well as a presentation ceremony for the annual Jim Campbell Award for LGBT Advocacy. Admission to the Silver Party is $20 for dinner and dancing.
