Basic human rights are under attack in Massachusetts, and we need you to help us defend them. The upcoming November elections will include a question that asks if the current public accommodations nondiscrimination law should remain in place. Question 3 marks the first time the rights of transgender people in public accommodations has been placed on a ballot.
You’re invited to a special Freedom for All Massachusetts (FFAM) Town Hall, jointly hosted by Fenway Health and Harvard Pilgrim, to help defend transgender equality at the ballot in Massachusetts. Hear updates on FFAM’s statewide campaign to uphold dignity for our transgender neighbors – and learn how you can help build the grassroots power needed to win.
The Town Hall will be held at 6 PM on Tuesday, September 25, on the 9th floor conference room of our 1340 Boylston St. building. This event is free and open to all. Food will be provided, along with an on-site raffle.

On Election Day, Massachusetts voters will vote on protections for our transgender friends and family. The referendum would repeal our state law that protects transgender people from discrimination in public places. A “yes” vote on Question 3 keeps the current law as it is.
We hope you’ll join us on September 25 for this important Town Hall community conversation ahead of the election, and at the ballot boxes this November to vote YES on 3.
