Alicia Anderson is AVP of Quality Improvement at Fenway Health. She oversees the quality and risk management functions of the organization, and ensures ongoing compliance with accrediting and recognition bodies including The Joint Commission and the National Center for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Under her direction, Fenway has achieved Patient Centered Medical Home recognition and is recognized by HRSA as a National Quality Leader among health centers. Prior to coming to Fenway in 2007, Anderson served as Program Analyst at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY and worked with HIV/AIDS case management organizations on quality improvement.
In 2005, Anderson earned her MBA in Healthcare Administration from the Graduate College of Union University, now Clarkson University, in Schenectady, NY. She is certified as a Black Belt in Six Sigma quality improvement methodology, and is certified healthcare executive with the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is a resident of the Hyde Park neighborhood.
