Amy Ben-Arieh, JD, MPH

Amy Ben-Arieh, JD, MPH is a nationally recognized authority on human research participant protection and inclusive research practices. In her other role as Director of Research Compliance, she oversees activities related to outside interest management, responsible conduct of research, research QA/QI, biosafety, and bioethics. She is a member of the Harvard Catalyst regulatory subcommittee on Social, Behavioral, and Education Research and serves on the Board of Directors for the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP). Amy writes and speaks on health equity, research ethics, and inclusive research oversight practices. Prior to joining TFI, Amy served as an Associate Chair of Mass General Brigham’s Human Research Committee and advised publicly and privately held companies on matters pertaining to corporate governance and compliance. Her educational background is in health law, bioethics, and human rights.
