Jean McClurken is a licensed independent clinical social worker and licensed addictions counselor. She has held key leadership positions in health systems since 2014, including BH manager and director positions in Montana, Colorado, and Iowa. She’s been a leader in developing strategies to improve the integration of primary care and BH. Jean has developed expertise in using data, especially in BH-specific and healthcare quality measures, to drive systems improvement. She has led cross-functional, multidisciplinary, and diverse teams of staff in various clinical and healthcare systems settings, focusing on positive change management and with a passion for client care and access in behavioral health.
In joining the team at Fenway, Jean has relocated with her family from Iowa back to Massachusetts where she is originally from. A graduate of Boston University and then Simmons School of Social Work, and a member of the LGBTQ community with a long appreciation for Fenway’s work, Jean is excited to return to MA and especially to come to work at Fenway.
