Dr. Monica Nguyen graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2012 where she was awarded membership to the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society. She then completed a Family Practice residency in rural Louisiana managing ocular disease and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is comfortable treating a variety of ocular conditions in all age ranges, but her clinical interests include specialty therapeutic and orthokeratology contact lenses, dry eyes, and glaucoma.
She and her husband currently have two amazing sons, and in her free time, she loves eating, traveling, crossword puzzles, and cheering on her LSU Tigers!
