Shari Stier joined Fenway Health as Chief People Officer in April of 2022. She has extensive human resources experience in the United States and abroad, overseeing the design and implementation of policies and protocols that build workplace cultures that honor, respect, and promote shared success.
Prior to joining Fenway, Stier served as Senior Associate Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Emerson College, where she led the evolution of HR systems and processes toward more responsive and trauma informed practices.
Stier has also worked at three global nonprofits. Education Development Center, advances lasting solutions to the most pressing educational, health, and workforce challenges across the globe. Pathfinder International focuses on reproductive rights and health, family planning, HIV/AIDS prevention and care, and maternal health. Stier oversaw the development and growth of global service-oriented HR departments in both organizations, which serve employees in more than 20 countries. She also served as Vice President of Global Human Resources at Pact, a global NGO that builds solutions for human development that are evidence-based, data-driven and owned by their communities.
Stier holds an MS in Human Resources and Organization Development from American University and a BA from Syracuse University.
