Here at Fenway Health, our shared values are the core of our work each and every day. As we continue to implement our Strategic Plan and Racial Equity Action Plan (REAP), announced in June, we will engage with internal and external stakeholders with a “Value of the Month.” This month’s value is COMMUNITY.
Community means that we foster connection with one another to strengthen our work. We cultivate brave spaces in which people can come together to connect, be heard, and support one another.
Fenway Health’s dedication to community comes from our very first days. When we opened the doors to our humble basement clinic in 1971, we pledged to serve the communities around us – regardless of anybody’s ability to pay – as well as folks from communities that were underserved by the medical industry. Today, that pledge remains a core tenant of our work.
