Fenway Health will be shutting down at 5 PM on December 24 and December 31 and will be closed on December 25 and January 1 for Christmas and New Year’s.

Our Values: Compassion

Here at Fenway Health, our shared values are the core of our work each and every day. As we continue to implement our Strategic Plan and Racial Equity Action Plan (REAP), announced in June, we will engage with internal and external stakeholders with a “Value of the Month.” This month’s value is COMPASSION.

Compassion means that we commit every day to meet the suffering of others with openness, generosity, understanding, and acceptance, and do all we can to alleviate it.

Since our founding in 1971, Fenway Health has understood the power of compassion to change lives. We opened our doors wide to folks who were all too often shunned and mistreated by mainstream health care, including LGBTQIA+ people, BIPOC people, people living with HIV, senior citizens, people experiencing homelessness and addiction, and low income communities. Today, we continue to serve these marginalized communities and many more, regardless of anyone’s ability to pay. When you walk into a Fenway Health building, you will be treated with the compassion, empathy, and dignity you deserve. That’s our promise, each and every day.
