Pamela Adelstein, MD, joined Fenway Health as Director of Family Medicine in 2023.
Dr. Adelstein comes to us from Codman Square Health Center, where she served the Dorchester community for over 17 years.
Prior to joining Fenway, Dr. Adelstein served as Codman’s Family Medicine Medical Director since 2018. In addition to that leadership role, she was a Staff Physician, providing full-spectrum family medicine for largely state-insured people, mostly people of color, Spanish-speaking immigrants. She was also an Integrative Medicine Provider Champion.
Outside of her work in community health, Dr. Adelstein is a Health Care Consultant at Camp Kaleidoscope in Newton, MA. She is a Family Practice Board certified physician who blends her experience practicing mind body medicine and acupuncture with her Western medicine training to care for the whole person and their family.
In her free time, Dr. Adelstein enjoys spending time with her husband and two college age children, spending time in nature hiking, kayaking, and biking, and practicing yoga, and reading novels. She speaks Spanish and conversational French and Portuguese.
