The Computer-Assisted Smoking Cessation study is testing whether a computer program can make it easier for healthcare providers to help patients living with HIV quit smoking tobacco.
You may be eligible if you are 18 years or older, receive your primary care at Fenway Health, currently smoke cigarettes, and are not currently taking any medications to help you stop smoking. Fenway Health patients can receive up to $190 for completing the study.
You do not have to want to quit smoking to participate in the study, but any medications recommended by the computer program and prescribed by a healthcare provider will be paid for by the study at no cost to you!
