Alicia is the Director of Quality Improvement at Fenway Health. Alicia oversees the quality and risk management functions of the organization, and ensures ongoing compliance with accrediting and recognition bodies including The Joint Commission and the National Center for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Under Alicia’s direction Fenway has achieved Patient Centered Medical Home recognition and is recognized by HRSA as a National Quality Leader among health centers. Alicia also represents Fenway on the National Association for Community Health Centers Quality Advisory Board. Prior to coming to Fenway in 2007, Alicia served as Program Analyst at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY and worked with HIV/AIDS case management organizations on quality improvement.
In 2005 Alicia earned her MBA in Healthcare Administration from the Graduate College of Union University, now Clarkson University, in Schenectady, NY. She is certified as a Black Belt in Six Sigma quality improvement methodology, and is certified healthcare executive with the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is a resident of the Fenway neighborhood.
