Michael Boroughs is an Adjunct Faculty member at The Fenway Institute. He is also an Assistant Professor and Director, BRIDGe Lab, Department of Psychology at the University of Windsor.
His areas of research include developing integrated treatment platforms, primarily adapting Cognitive-Behavioural Therapies, to address Primary HIV Prevention complicated by developmental trauma in general, and bullying more specifically, among sexual minorities. In addition, he is interested in physical appearance concerns, e.g., Body Dysmorphic Disorder, among minority populations including sexual and gender identity minorities and racial and ethnic minorities.
